I meant to post this sooner… I was so unbelievably honored to have my first showing alongside such an amazing group of artists. Thanks to Black Vulture Gallery & Buddy Nestor for putting on such an amazing show!!! Yes, the end of another day is approaching fast & It’s been along one. No creating today…ah, sigh… However, I plan on setting up my new work space tomorrow so hopefully things will get rolling then!!!

Once again I find myself with another day flying by and all too fast approaching the stroke of midnight. Lot’s of changes & new beginnings…good things, but it’s definitely taking a bit of time away from creating. After I get a few things tied up, hopefully tomorrow, I’ll be back on it!!! I had to post a little entry to keep in line with my goal :)

I’m keeping up with a daily posting, however I don’t have any work to post up today. The day got away from me & I didn’t take the time out to draw, paint, create…that just means more to do tomorrow!!! Hoping to catch some inspiration in my dreams…

A New Beginning!!!

I decided what better day to embark upon a fresh start on an old goal than the 3rd day of the New Year. Why the 3rd day, well, as you can tell I sorta have a thing for that number :) My plan is to update every day. I’ll be documenting different projects I’m working on as well as various rambles from time to time & news & the like. My plan is to do this every day for the rest of the year so that at the end I will have an online journal so to speak of my creative (and otherwise) endeavors. Please do follow along if you like what you see!!!

She’s coming through…finals are over so I had a moment to sit down with my latest grrrl and begin inking her in…I hope she isn’t too cross with me for neglecting her, but unfortunately final projects consumed most of my time the past weeks… By the look on her face, I think she’s forgiven me…

So I finally saved my Illustrator file so that I could put it up on here properly :) This was my first attempt at creating a vector based image…it was a homework assignment so it is directly from a photograph from the amazing band Miss Derringer (yes, text incorporation was part of the assignment) It was really fun to learn how to do a vector illustration & I’m quite happy with the results of my first attempt at this new medium for me :)
